Home --> Infections Control

We are committed to providing your family with the safest, most reliable, worry-free, and responsible healthcare available. We adhere to, and in most cases, far exceed the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We use the appropriate combination of disposable and reusable instruments, and we autoclave (heat sterilize) all hand pieces and instruments after each use. State of the art equipment allows for efficient surface disinfection.
We understand your concerns and encourage you to learn more about how disease is transmitted and the precautions we take to prevent it.

The following procedures are being routinely performed:

Barrier Controls- As recommended by OSHA and CDC our office staff wears protective eyewear, masks when needed, and new gloves for each patient.

Sterilization- After each patient's visit all instruments are cleaned and then sterilized by our state of the art autoclave and dry heat sterilization systems.

Disposable Items- Items which cannot be sterilized are discarded once used or exposed to the treatment environment.

Disinfectants- These are used on chairs, counter tops, and other surface areas in all treatment rooms after each use.

Our goal is to provide the highest level of safety and comfort for our staff and patients. We are committed to staying current with the latest in infection control and sterilization guidelines. You can feel confident that your child's health is protected in our office.
