Insurance Alert

DID YOU KNOW…
• Dental Plans on average have a maximum benefit of $1,000 - $1,500? By not completing treatment by the end of the year, you lose those benefits.
• Some dental procedures take place across several appointments? The sooner you plan your treatment, the more likely it is that you’ll be able to use your benefits before they expire.
• HSA/FSA funds usually don’t roll over to the following year? The funds that you or your employer contribute to the FSA throughout the year can be used for dental care. Don’t let that money expire!
• Preventive care is the best way to stay on top of your dental and overall health? Most insurance companies cover preventive care, such as cleanings, X-rays, and exams, at 100%, with no out-of-pocket cost. However, these services still count toward your yearly maximum. If you schedule overdue preventative care this year, you’ll have the entire amount of next year’s benefit available to help cover any treatment you may need.
• Some plans have a “rollover period”? However, it’s usually a reduced amount of your benefit that gets carried over.

Let us help maximize your remaining 2024 insurance benefits!
